Brian Gabel Obituary, Death Cause – At the age of sixty, Brian David Gabel, a resident of St. Lawrence, died away at Penn State Health-St. Joseph on the 11th of July, 2023. He was the son of David Gordon Gabel and Mary Elizabeth (Wells) Gabel, both of whom passed away before his birth on November 19, 1962 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Debra Lynn (Pauley) Gabel was Brian’s wife, and the couple had been married for a total of 35 years when Brian passed away.

Great Western Services, Inc. of Allentown was Brian’s place of employment at the time. Over the course of more than 45 years, Brian was a happy and dedicated member of the Monarch Fire Company, where he eventually rose to the position of Vice President and served as Chief of Fire. Visiting Disney World and spending time with Brian’s grandkids were two of Brian’s favorite things to do in his spare time.

In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by his son, Brian Jr., who is married to Elaine Gabel, his daughter, Tara, who is married to Christopher Turtell, and his brother, Keith Gabel, who is a close friend of Sharon Rizzeto. In addition, Brian’s grandkids Branden Turtell, Andrew Turtell, Charlotte Gabel, and Theodore Gabel are still alive and well today.

Diane Gabel, who was his sister, passed away before him. The memorial ceremony will commence at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 17, 2023, at the Dengler Funeral Home located at 144 N. Spruce Street in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. The family will greet visitors from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM on that day. The Reverend James T. Farnsworth will preside over the event.
